Speaker, trainer, writer and mentor are just a few words to describe Uneeka Jay the editor of powermommynation.com and founder of Powerful U Media Group. She is married to an amazing man and has a blended family of thirteen children ranging in ages from 24 years old to 11 years old. Uneeka and her family live in the Greater Philadelphia area.
By day, Uneeka works as a senior executive at a medical device company and sits on the board of a small non-profit organization.

Uneeka has a passion for empowering women by equipping and educating them. Powerful U Media Group utilizes all forms of media to reach women. This includes a bi-weekly newsletter called Power Up which contains tips and tools for women. Uneeka hosts a weekly radio show called A Powerful U which showcases dynamic women from across the nation. Additionally, the staff works with small business owners and non-profit organizations to create web pages, logos and manage social media campaigns. Uneeka started her blog Powermommynation.com when her quest to find emotional and educational support for executive women who were mothers was unsuccessful. In defining the scope Uneeka realized that all mothers were seeking support and expanded her reach beyond executive mothers. Her focus is on efficiency and excellence. Her session teach mothers how to transfer business principles and systems into their homes. Mothers learn how to develop profit sharing programs for their children, hold effective family meetings, establish a board of directors for their child’s education and much more. These skills enable them to be more effective in every area of their life and become a Powermommy!
